As the seasons change, our bodies and spirits also undergo a transformation. Autumn is a beautiful time, a time of shedding – as leaves let go and fall gently to their winter resting place, the memories and moments of the passing year give way to inner reflection. It's a time to pause, open the heart and replenish physically, mentally and emotionally, for the cold months ahead. Over 3 nights and 4 days, Yew Yoga Retreat offers a variety of ways to refresh inside and out...
  • Enjoy the breathtaking majesty of the High Uinta Wilderness with a crisp, autumn stroll around the lake, or an afternoon of horseback riding. If Mother Nature blankets the earth with snow, there is ample opportunity for snowshoeing and cross-country skiing.
  • Savor delicious Ayurvedic Cuisine, presented twice daily for greater balance and better health (snacks will also be available).
  • Cultivate a sense of stillness and calm as you participate in morning and evening Sadhana, meditation and daily chant.
  • Stretch your body, mind and soul by attending the 90-minute Yoga Classes, which are offered each morning and afternoon in the lodge.
  • Immerse yourself in an enlightening Yoga Workshop.
  • Soak your stress away in the hot tub or curl up with a book near the fire.
  • Embrace music, song and insights with a private performance by singer/songwriter Danielle Vaughn.
  • Pamper yourself with a traditional massage, a Thai Yoga Massage or even a rejuvenating facial using the Aveda line of organic treatments which are all available ($65.00 for one hour, please bring cash, first come first serve with advance reservations).
Come celebrate the journey of rekindling a sense of gratitude for life, for your health and for the earth in this wonderful season of harvest, abundance and rest. Yew will love it!
